Job Summary
The Draftsperson will be responsible for preparing, updating, and coordinating technical drawings related to hospitality planning and MEP services. The role supports project teams by producing accurate drawings, layouts, and documentation in line with PCTS standards, project requirements, and coordination needs.
Key Responsibilities
Drafting & Documentation
- Prepare and develop AutoCAD drawings for hospitality projects including layouts, plans, and coordination drawings
- Modify and update drawings based on design changes, client inputs, and site conditions
- Maintain drawing registers, revisions, and version control
MEP & Design Coordination
- Assist in drafting MEP layouts (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting) as per project scope
- Coordinate drawings with architects, structural consultants, and other disciplines
- Support clash coordination and drawing integration across services
Project Support
- Assist Project Managers and design teams with drawing submissions and presentations
- Prepare drawing sets for client review, tender, and construction stages
- Incorporate red-line markups and site feedback into updated drawings
Quality & Standards
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and PCTS quality guidelines
- Perform basic checks for accuracy, scale, and completeness before submission
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education
- Diploma / ITI / Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
Experience
- 2–5 years of drafting experience, preferably in hospitality, MEP, or construction consultancy projects
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
- Working knowledge of MEP services drawings
- Familiarity with drawing standards, layers, and coordination practices
- Knowledge of Revit / BIM is an added advantage
Soft Skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple drawings and deadlines
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to project requirements
